Stick People Decals

Have you noticed lately that we are becoming a society that feels some kind of need to express ourselves on our vehicles. It seems like every where you turn the vehicle next to you has car decals on its windows, bumpers, windshield and even the side panels. One that I am seeing more than ever is the stick people decals. These decals seems to be today’s replacement of the yellow baby on board plaques that we used to see in the late 80’s.

This is a growing business and has taken the country by storm. Just do a search online and you will be blown away by the amount of manufactures selling stick people decals. Statistics show that this business is not slowing down either. Aaron Ellsworth, vice-president of marketing for Woodland Manufacturing in Meridian, Idaho, runs a company that makes family stickers and believes that this trend is true. “I think the trend for personalization has grown,” said Aron “Ive watched it grow over the past 10 years. Id say its really grown even more in the past four or five years.”

Today car window decals are made from high quality vinyl. The vinyl, that is used to manufacture these decals, is completely weather proof, UV resistant, and will not flake or peel. These decals are made with adhesive tape on the back side of the decal so the they can be applied to the windows or your cars surface. The beauty of car decals, is if you ever want to take them off they will not destroy your cars paint in the process.

The options for stick people decals are many. There are many different shapes, sizes, body types, and ages available. Some of the options are, Adults, Teens, Preteens, Children, Toddlers, Babies, Pets, and Old People just to mention a few. There are even some online manufactures that will allow you to purchase your own custom design. Some allow you to have decals made with your name underneath it or even your own custom stick figure. Just the other day my wife had one made for my father in law for  around $10.00. It was a stick figure of an old man with a cane, ( I think he feels that this decal will help him pick up hot chicks). Whatever the case may be, you are sure to find stick people decals that suite your lifestyle.

Why Choose Car Window Decals?

Why choose window decals? They are less extravagant than car decals, installation is quick and easy, and they are easier to fit into the budget than car decals. However they give your car or truck the personalized look you are wanting.

Most people choose window decals because they want to have their vehicle recognized by others. Whether you choose a certain decal that enables your friends to recognize you driving down the road or you place a message for the unsuspecting driver behind you. Whatever you choose, it displays your likes or dislikes.

A few vehicle fashions are currently taking place. Families want you to know something about them. A popular item for the family vehicle is the personalized stick people decals. Just search the internet and you will be amazed at the options available. There are different shaped stick people for the body shape your family represents. You can have your name or nick name placed under your sticker. There are stickers for grandpa, grandma, mom, dad, brother, sister, baby and don’t forget the most important, the family pet. If you are a doctor, lawyer, nurse, teacher, golfer, basketball, soccer player, hiker etc. your sticker can reflect your title or passion in life.

For the younger driver window decals have a whole different meaning. Some use decals to display their favorite sport team or the group they belong to. Certain brands of clothing, skateboarding companies, motorcycles, surfing and other major company logos are very popular item. These car decals are usually attained by the company itself. Giving away these stickers for free allows the company logo to be placed into the target audience they are seeking at public view for a very low cost. This also allows the younger driver to display who he or she is.

Personalized vinyl decals are more expensive than decals purchased at an auto parts store or online. A personalized sticker has to be drawn by you, your graphic designer or by the vinyl sticker manufacture. Personalized decals allow you to tell and show others exactly what you want to say. For instance after 911 many Americans wanted to show their support and they personalized their decal with an “In Memory” of someone they knew who had died during the 911 tragedy.

During elections, campaign stickers are a very effective way to promote the candidate they support. This has worked over and over for propositions and the Presidential Election. It allows the voter to voice his or her position on the item being voted for in hopes that you too will read the sticker and vote too.

Whether you choose one sticker or fifty stickers, your vehicle’s window is your personal space and lets others know about you. Before you decide to plaster all of your windows with a large decal or many, check your local states DMV laws. Many states have rules and limitations to stickers placed on windows. Some stickers can be considered dangerous if your view is blocked while driving.
